Senior road safety engineer Yongsheng Chen joins FNI

FNI is pleased to announce that Yongsheng Chen has joined our road safety practice.

Yongsheng Chen is a senior road safety engineer with twenty years of professional engineering experience. Yongsheng earned his PhD in Civil Engineering from Ryerson University in 2012, after previously obtaining both a PhD and Masters from the Beijing University of Technology. Yongsheng specializes in road safety, ITS, transportation operations and maintenance, planning, and facility design. Yongsheng is a registered professional engineer in Ontario and has led over 15 projects related to traffic safety, advanced traffic data analytics, and smart highways in Canada and China. Yongsheng is a well established researcher in transportation and has authored over 40 academic papers.
